GANESH VANDANA:- In India , every auspicious occasion , festival & Pooja commences with Ganesh Vandana a prayer and obeisance to Ganesh the elephant headed deity worshipped for his benevolence.

CHARI NRITYA:- Dancers choreograph deft patterns with their heads. The performance is made more picturesque with flames and cotton seeds set alight, so that the bobbing heads create streaks of illuminated patterns as they move effortlessly around the floor.

BHAWAI NRITYA:- One of the most spectacular dances of Rajasthan, it consists of veiled women dancers balancing several pitchers on their heads and at the same time nimble, pirouetting, and then swaying with the soles of their feet perched on top of a glass, or on the edge of a sword. There is a sense of cutting edge suspense to the performance. The dance is a feat of amazing dexterity. .

KACHI GHODI:- Originating from the bandit regions of Shekhawati, the dance is performed for the entertainment of a bridegroom\'s Party. The dancers wear elaborate costumes that resemble them riding on dummy horses. A vigorous dance, it uses mock fights and the brandishing of swords, nimble sidestepping and pioetting to the music of fifes and drums.Aballad singer usally sings the exploits of the bandit Robin Hoods. The musical instruments used accompany the dance are Banks,Shehnai,Dhol and majira.

AGNI NRITYA (FIRE DANCE):- If there is divine perception to be offered, the jasaniths of Bikaner and Churu in Rajasthan must be responsible for cornering most of it The dancers blow fire from the mouth of wards off evil. These devotional performances are usually to be seen late on a winter\'s night . .

GRAMIN BHAVAI: This dance is a popular in the rural and desert areas of Rajasthan.The dancer performs on a brass tumbler in tum.

PEOCOCK DANCE:- The peacock dance is performed in the rainy season.The rain is welcomed by all the people particularly by the peacock. People enjoy and dance like peacock during the rainy season.. .

KATHPUTLI (Puppet Dance):- Kathputli is a puppet dance which is a very popular in the Bikaner Shekhwati region of Rajasthan. Kathputli. A tradition of puppeteering has long existed in Rajasthan. A travelling form of entertainment, it uses the ballads, retold in the voice of the puppeteer who is assisted by his family in erecting a make shift stage. Puppet are strung on the stage and recount historic anecdotes, replay tale of love and include much screeching and high pitched sounds as the puppets twirl and move frenetically.

GHOOMAR:- A community dance of the Rajputs, performed by the women of the houses traditionally out of bonds for men, It uses simple , swaying movements to convey the spirit of any auspicious occasion.There is however an amazing grace as the skirts flare slowly while the women twirl in circles, their faces covered by veli. Traditionally, all women, whether old or young participate in the dance, which can continue for hours into the right.A new bridge,on being welcomed to the home of her husband, too is expected to dance the ghoomar as one the rituals of the new marriage. .

BANJARA –BANJARI DANCE:- Rajasthan is a state which has a large gypsy population. The Gypsies or the Banjaras of Rajasthan follow a culture and traditions, that are uniquely their own and different from that of the Rajuts of Rajasthan.To celebrate their joys, festivals , and happy occasions wuch as marriages and the birth of a child with in their community with joyous abandon..

KALBELIYA DANCE :-Also known as the Sapera(snake)dance, this is one of the most serious dance from of Rajasthan , performed by the Kalbeliyas snake charmers ribbons As they spin in a circle, their bodies sway acrobatically, so that it is impossible to belive that they are made of anything other than rubber. As the beat increases in tempo,the pace increases to such a pitch , that it leaves the viewer as exhausted as the dancer. The musical instruments used for the dance are been, Dufli,Bafang(a one wire instrument) and the large dhol (drum). .
